Neon Genesis Evangelion

The Neon Genesis Evangelion (新世紀エヴァンゲリオン, Shin Seiki Evangerion?) franchise is an umbrella of Japanese media properties generally owned by the anime studio Gainax. It has grossed over 150 billion yen since 1995.[1] The central (and original) works of the franchise feature an apocalyptic mecha action story which revolves around the efforts by the paramilitary organization Nerv to fight hostile beings called Angels. Nerv's primary weapon against the Angels are giant mecha called Evangelions which are piloted by select teenagers, one of whom, Shinji Ikari, is the primary protagonist. Other works deviate from this theme to varying degrees, focusing more on romantic interactions between the characters, side stories which did not appear in the original works, and/or reimaginings of the conflicts from the original works.

Born Into Brothels: Calcutta's Red Light Kids [Oscar Winning Documentary]

Born into Brothels: Calcutta's Red Light Kids is a 2004 American documentary film about the children of prostitutes in Sonagachi, Kolkata's red light district. The widely acclaimed film, written and directed by Zana Briski and Ross Kauffman, won a string of accolades including the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 2004.

Briski, a documentary photographer, went to Kolkata (Calcutta) to photograph prostitutes. While there, she befriended their children and offered to teach the children photography to reciprocate being allowed to photograph their mothers. The children were given cameras so they could learn photography and possibly improve their lives. Much of their work was used in the film, and the filmmakers recorded the classes as well as daily life in the red light district. The children's work was exhibited, and one boy was even sent to a photography conference in Amsterdam. Briski also recorded her efforts to place the children in boarding schools.

Jimmy Neutron

The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, often shortened to just Jimmy Neutron, is an American animated television series, and spin-off of the Academy Award nominated computer-animated movie, Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. It first officially aired on September 6, 2002, on Nickelodeon, and on September 6, 2004 on E4, which is owned by Channel 4, and is also the very first computer-animated Nicktoon. Jimmy Neutron, Spongebob Squarepants, and Fairly OddParents were always nominated for "Best Cartoon" in the Nick Choice Awards. You can still see the show on TV because Nickelodeon broadcasts reruns of the series.

The pilot, named "Runaway Rocketboy", involves Jimmy testing a rocket ship that he has invented, and later uses it when he inadvertently stumbles upon a Yolkian plot to conquer Earth. The pilot was never aired, but its plot was used for the film Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. The pilot was later included as an extra on the "Confusion Fusion" DVD.

The pilot had a few differences from the main series. Most notably, the clothes were different, the theme song was longer with a few lines that were cut later, Goddard was not voiced by Frank Welker, and Carl Wheezer resembled his father. The title card had a picture in the scene, like all the other Nicktoons at the time. Also, the DNA Productions mascot was an animated cat.

The second pilot, Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, was released on December 21, 2001 as a theatrical film and was a huge success.

Kamen Rider W [Completed]

Kamen Rider W (仮面ライダーW(ダブル), Kamen Raidā Daburu?, also called Kamen Rider Double) is the eleventh series in the Heisei period run of the Kamen Rider Series and the twentieth Rider series overall. It premiered following the finale of Kamen Rider Decade on September 6, 2009[1], and aired alongside Samurai Sentai Shinkenger in TV Asahi's Super Hero Time programming block. Following Shinkenger's finale, it aired alongside Tensou Sentai Goseiger, until W concluded on August 29, 2010. The series is described as the "Heisei Kamen Rider 10th Anniversary Project: Fall Campaign" (平成仮面ライダー10周年プロジェクト 秋の陣, Heisei Kamen Raidā Jusshūnen Purojekuto: Aki no Jin?). The catchphrase for the series is "This clinches it!" (これで決まりだ!, Kore de kimari da!?).

In the ecologically-minded city of Futo (風都, Fūto?, the "Windy City"), there are many windmills and the people live in harmony. However, the Sonozaki Family sell mysterious devices resembling USB flash drives called Gaia Memories to criminals and other interested parties who use them to become monsters called Dopants, committing crimes with the police force powerless to stop them. To make matters worse, the Gaia Memories carry a dangerous toxin that cause their users to go insane to the point where they could die from the life-threatening devices. After the death of his boss, the self-proclaimed hardboiled (actually half-boiled) detective Shotaro Hidari works with the mysterious Philip, who possesses the true Gaia Memory, to investigate crimes which involve Dopants. Using their own Gaia Memories, Shotaro and Philip use the Double Driver belts to transform and combine into Kamen Rider Double to fight the Dopant menace and keep Futo safe. While joined in their fight by investigator Ryu Terui, who transforms into Kamen Rider Accel, the mystery of Philip's past and his relation to the Sonozaki Family and their Museum organization are revealed.[2][9]
